We are a growing Christian homeschool publication company dedicated to equipping families with Biblically rooted, beautifully designed, and high-quality educational resources. 

As our offerings expand and our team grows, we are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and diligent proofreader to ensure excellence in every resource we produce. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional attention to detail, strong language proficiency, and the ability to ensure consistency across all resources. They should be adaptable and excellent communicators, capable of managing multiple projects while upholding the highest standard of excellence in everything we produce.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre-proofing tasks in Google Docs, reviewing initial writing and editing while maintaining the writer’s voice.
• Identify and correct common issues such as spelling, grammar, punctuation, and formatting.
• Review and proof materials, including teacher's guides, student books, answer keys, planners, and additional resources, for accuracy and consistency.
• Use PageProof for post-proofing tasks, cross-checking pre- and post-proof versions to resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with writers, editors, and designers to ensure clarity and adherence to original edits.
• Provide clear, concise feedback to the design team, addressing any final adjustments.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in proofreading, preferably in publishing, curriculum development, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and proficiency in identifying and resolving content errors.
• Time management skills: Capable of handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with Google Docs and PageProof is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, ensuring constructive collaboration and feedback.
• A commitment to producing high-quality, accurate materials while honoring our mission and values.
